Mission XP - 25 January 2016 WOW!

I can't believe you guys got snow...6 inches...wow Hey sorry this letter is short. We moved houses today. The last two
weeks have been crazy. I started this transfer covering the Midas Creek Stake and the Country Crossing Stake with Elder Bouchilon. Then the first Friday there was an emergency transfer and one of the Elders in Parkway Stake had to go home for an injury or something so we got Elder Jensen and a third stake...and a CAR! Then last Monday we got another call from the A.P's dealing with another emergency transfer and Elder Jensen got moved somewhere in West Jordan and we kept all three stakes. Today we moved from our house in Country Crossing to the house missionaries were living in before in parkway stake. We moved because the lady who lives in the Parkway house is very elderly and needs missionaries more. This week was so good! We had a lesson with Nikki who wants to be baptized in February. We actually had two lesson because today we stopped by and gave her boyfriend (who is being reactivated) a blessing and then shared a message with them. We've been organizing how we are working in 3 stakes and we are less stressed out then we were haha. We've been trying to contact soo many referals and potential investigators. Our companionship goal is within the next two weeks contact all our referals and potential investigators and return and report and we know that as we do that we are going to find at least 4new investigators not within the same family. We put a lot of prayer into the most effective way to get the work rolling and there are so many referals in our notes. We had a really awesome miracle in our work Thursday. We were on a real time coordination with a Ward mission leader and we stopped by Justina's house (Less active member) as we talked to her she said she didn't believe in the Book of Mormon...but that she hadn't read it. We testified of it, talked, testified again, talked and finally after the third testimony/invitation she said, "I know I need to . . .  I'll start reading it this week" then she said that she had a non member husband and two nonmember children that she wants to get baptized and that the husband has mentioned meeting with us! It was amazing!
In studies I've really been applying the Book of Mormon to my life. As Elder Bouchilon and I had the opportunity to give talks today about that. It was so good.

Love you mom,
Elder Kremer

P.S.
There was a world wide mission conference held in Utah and all of the Utah missions got to attend in person. Elder Bednar was there, so was Elder Oaks, Elder Nelson, and one of the new apostles and it was very good. I don't know if you guys can watch it on Mormon .org or lds.org and I know it is applying to the full time missionaries but I feel it applies to member missionaries as well.
Love you guys!

Mission XP - 18 January 2016

Hey!
Sorry I didn't get to email last week so I'm just going to sum up the last two weeks really poorly probably because I can't remember much.
Last week was good we took the Anderson's (family of investigators) to temple square. The experience was as amazing as it is almost every time I've been. We saw the model of the temple and there Sister Anderson asked several questions about families. I love her questions, she always apologizes for asking so many but I keep trying to tell her that asking questions is perfect. Her questions are always so outward. Always about her family or how it could bless someone else like in the plan of salvation. She knows this is good. She will become truly converted to this gospel because of how she applies questions and things on her mind as she reads the Book of Mormon.
Elder Fehoko and I had been working as a companionship on using the Book of Mormon in every o.y.m and the other day we invited two people, one one the street and one at a door approach, to be baptized when they found this was true by reading and praying about the Book of Mormon.
IT WAS AMAZING...so cool! They said yes but then when we set a date they said let them pray first but it was still awesome. We are going to meet with one of them this week and help him with
understanding the Book of Mormon.
I got transferred last Tuesday to the Country Crossing Stake and the Midas Creek Stake with Elder Bouchilon. He and I already knew each other because we'd gone on exchanges up in Draper so the first couple days felt like an exchange...that was not good haha. Then Wednesday we got a call from the A.P's (assistant to president) saying they wanted to talk to Elder Bouchilon on a couple matters. Then later we got another call from the A.P's saying that we would be participating in an E.T (Emergency Transfer) on Friday.
Friday morning came...slowly...it was a morning very much like this one. It was dark and cloudy outside. You could hear the rain thundering down. It was dripping from the ceiling slowly through a hole the mice had created.
A puddle forming around my feet...I miss reading fiction...but we got a ride to the mission office and inside we waited with the A.P.'s and found out that we were getting Elder Jensen and the Parkway Stake annnddddd a car! So yea really exciting transfer. I'm back in SoJo right next to Glenmoor (my first area) I'll be going on exchanges to Daybreak right by my second area (Founders Park) I'm in a tripanionship for the 3rd time (pun intended) covering three Stakes/ 22 Wards!
We are really excited for all the potential in our Stakes! We've been praying pretty hard on how to be most effective and we are excited to start implementing what we came up with starting tommorow! We've had the opportunity to relieve a lot of referrals.
In studies we've been role playing lessons we will have with our potential investigators and how to effectively set up a return appointment in an o.y.m with the Book of Mormon. That's also what I studied in studies. I re-read the chapter on Book of Mormon and it stated that we should use it to set up return appointments.

I love you mom!

Mission XP - 4 January 2016 Happy New Year!

Haha!

My week was good too.

Monday we played volleyball and something else! We also got a referral from the family we had been working on our duet with and we contacted that family of a less active wife and
non-member husband that night.
We shared a message then the wife asked us our personal conversion story. It was very good. We set up a return appointment with them for Saturday. Also our family of investigators fell through Monday. They couldn't meet but they went to church Sunday and we are taking them to
temple square next week!

Tuesday was Zone Conference! So much good stuff. Elder Fehoko and I sang a super awesome version of If The Savior Stood Beside Me and it was good enough but I want to sing it for a special musical number in sacrament meeting and he doesn't. We also had dinner with the Michels and during dinner they had cards so I did a couple magic tricks and
blew there minds because that just how I do . . . Black left arrow️ that's not how talk . . .

Wednesday we ate dinner with one of our recent converts!

Thursday was just really cold. It's really cold everyday but I had nothing else to put and explaining this made at least two sentences for Thursday ;)

Friday...dang it was also really cold.

Saturday we had three appointments . . . and they all..fell through. Sickness is..yea. I had a pretty cool experience for me though. I got to see how much I actually have grown in the last year. Elder Fehoko went to a baptism and so I went on a split with a young man (Brad) who is working on being able to go on a mission. He was going to go to dinner with me and then we were going to teach the restoration to a new investigator. Brad had come with us to lessons before but we had
just asked him question or asked him to share his testimony and I didn't really like that to much because he should be getting the teaching experience. So for 30 minutes before dinner we went home and review a couple principles then I role played with him. First it reminded me exactly of me at the beginning of my mission. I couldn't remember what I had just read. I couldn't say much of anything about the principle without stopping and just saying I have no idea what to say. I was helping him with transitions sharing personal experiences and testimony and I told him no matter what you do, if you feel like you don't know what to say don't try to wrap up the principle and
transition because it's destroys b.c.s when we have to go back and cover stuff we missed. So I said just do say what you know and remember and then testify before you stop and I'll always be ready to testify to you and continue teaching the principle. He seemed a little at ease after I said that so we role-played a couple more times. And each time he would add a little more before stopping. And I shared how each missionary has a different teaching style and how as long as you continuously study the lessons and keep your testimony strong that I've found it really doesn't matter the different teaching styles. When you teach with the spirit and put enough study so he can remind you what to say it will be always what the individual needs. I felt pretty good about it. We only got through Christs earthy ministry and atonement in 30 minutes. When we got to dinner the family said they had to go right after dinner to drop the grandmother off at the
airport so we weren't able to teach the new investigator. It would have been an awesome expirience for Brad but I feel it was still a great expirience for both of us.

Sunday- honestly I loved sacrament meetings today. There were so many beautiful testimonies shared and the spirit was felt very strong by all who attended. It was great because the Ward we have the most work going on in had several less active members we are working with and one of our investigators attend church. Very powerful for anyone who was there.

Also the companionship is still doing great! We have a great vision for this stake. And we have such a great stake with an amazing stake presidency who is so focused on the missionary work!

Love ya mom!
